Acupuncture Care – New Patient Outline of Procedures
We would like remove all the likely obstacles that would stop anyone from receiving the care they deserve. That is why we offer a free 30 minute consultation and screening to see how acupuncture can help you. We also want you to feel comfortable, so below is our outline of procedures for new patient care. We hope this allows you to gain a some understanding on what the process is and as always, we hope you contact us with any questions.

STEP ONE: Screening to find out if you qualify for acupuncture care.

STEP TWO: As a new patient who has qualified for care you are requested to fill out personal health history questionnaires.

STEP THREE: A consultation with the Acupuncturist to discuss your health problems and determine what may be the cause.

STEP FOUR: A comprehensive exam and evaluation including those tests necessary to determine the precise cause of your problem.

STEP FIVE: A short series of evaluation treatments (3-6) will be given to help determine your rate of response.

STEP SIX: You will be given a Report of Findings at which time the detailed causes of your problem will be discussed. You will be given a thorough explanation of how acupuncture works.

STEP SEVEN: If you are accepted as a patient, Acupuncture care will begin. The type of care you need will be explained to you. Also, additional explanations will be given on the different types of care available in the office.

STEP EIGHT: An estimate of future care that is needed will be given and upon your acceptance, acupuncture will begin and continue until a maximum correction for you has been obtained.

STEP NINE: After maximum correction, a schedule of care will be recommended to help prevent future problems and maintain good health.
